Virginia Tech’s Summer Digital Media Academy for Educators is now accepting applications for the 2016 session, which will take place July 18-22nd. Space is limited.
The Academy aims to help educators master the fundamentals of digital broadcasting as well as other core competencies in visual story telling media production.
Held in our state of the art Multimedia Center within the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech, the Academy is taught by Virginia Tech’s renowned communications and journalism faculty.

The Bootcamp is designed into two tracks – one for educators and one for students.

- Media, journalism or communications teachers and instructors at the high school level.
- Media club advisors
- School media center directors and teachers
- Any educator interested in learning new teaching methods and delivery methods.

- Have a passionate interest in advanced media production
- Want to hands on experience in an advanced studio environment
